Using the standard Zerg opening, the 15-Hatch Opening, 2-Base Roach/Hydra utilizes the Zerg’s ability to leap well ahead of their opponents economically in order to build larger armies than their opponents. Additionally, the Roach/Hydra opening puts together an extremely potent army composition that is very hard for Protoss players to counter.
